Dr. Emmeline Ye has always loved animals, though she didn’t realize her dream of becoming a veterinarian until she was 20 years old. She started out as an Economics Major at UCSD and was completing an externship at an international bank in China when she realized she had no passion for what she was doing. It was at that moment she decided to pursue a career that would make a real difference in the lives of those around her. “I thought about what kind of impact I wanted to make and decided that I wanted to become an expert in animals”, Dr. Ye said of her early years. She was especially driven by her first dog, Coco, who inspired her to educate herself further on animals so she could provide Coco with a happier, healthier life. This eventually led to Dr. Ye wanting to provide a healthy and happy life for all pets, not just her own.Read More
For Dr. Fred Li, the veterinary profession encompassed four strong passions of his including science, medicine, teaching, and of course animals!
He is proud to serve a passionate population of people that want to do what they can to take care of their animal companions. “Animals often cannot communicate what is causing them pain or discomfort,” Says Dr. Li. “So as a veterinarian, my knowledge and skills allow me to try to get to the source of the issue and provide relief for both the pet and their caring owners.”Read More
Dr. Nicole Sosa has always been passionate about advocating for those without a voice, so pursuing a career in Veterinary medicine seemed to be a natural career path for her. She especially enjoys helping educate owners so they feel more empowered to care for their pets and provide them with the healthiest lives possible. The fact that her advice and workup for patients can profoundly impact pets’ overall health and well-being motivates Dr. Sosa to go above and beyond in her career.
Dr. Sosa is also a passionate pet mom with an adventurous and active 3-year-old lilac beagle named Cozmo and a spunky, feisty 2-year-old frenchie named Bonita.Read More
From a young age, Dr. Goo knew she always wanted to be around animals. As she grew, she realized that in order for her to love her career, working with animals was a must. “When I was 7 years old, I woke up to find my Spaniel, Joy, paralyzed and in pain.” Dr. Goo shares. “Growing up as an immigrant, there was a language barrier as well as financial constraints that limited our access to veterinary care and she was euthanized the same day. Feeling powerless to heal and bring my best friend back home was what first inspired me to want to help animals.”
When she got older, Dr. Goo volunteered at the local zoo and worked several positions at veterinary clinics. During this time, she was able to gain some understanding of her dog Joy’s condition. It was also during this time that Dr. Goo officially decided to become a veterinarian.Read More

"We have a Boston, Louie and since we moved here we have been coming to Petsadena. We have recieved nothing but exceptional care. Everyone from the Reception staff to the Vet techs to the Vets themselves have always been outstanding. Are they busy, yes. Do they still take the time to explain everything, again yes. We would not go anywhere else."
"I am so happy to have found Petsadena. After adopting our rescue during Covid I was unsuccessful at reaching any other vet clinic and they were super responsive and professional. When we finally got in to see the vet (Which was that same week) they were so organized and made our first time seamless and stress free. Their intake assistant was so reassuring and truly delightful. The fact that we were still able to remotely connect to "sit in" on our Pup's first visit was just icing on the cake. Thanks, Petsadena!"
"My pup began going to Petsadena during the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic. Although he is a very anxious pup without me at the vet, the team at Petsadena were very kind, understanding of my dogs anxiety, and still gave him great care. Their ability to talk to you while they work with your animal is impressive and the technology is great! Since our first visit, we've had a few tech visits and a day-of appointment that all went smoothly and were helpful. Thanks!"
"I've been taking my adult cat to Petsadena for the past year and they have the most compassionate, comprehensive, and quality care I've seen in a veterinary practice. Everyone who works there is extremely professional-- even with the complications that have come from COVID, they've made visits accessible, easy, and stress-free for my pet."
